Shelley Lake Park

Shelly Lake park is a very popular park for good reason. Featuring a 53 acre lake, and approximately 3 miles of smooth paved trails, this park is a favorite of walkers, joggers, bike riders, dog walkers, and nature lovers. Several big open fields provide good places to spread out for a picnic, play some frisbee, or catch some rays. The ducks love to be fed near the big bridge.

There is a boat house rate will rent out boats (in season, not free), and also has fishing bait (also not free). New to fishing? No pole or tackle? Not a problem, the park offers a FREE fishing tackle loaner program to help introduce people to the fun of fishing. Go to the boat house for details and give it a try! Some of the fish you can expect to catch would be catfish, bass, carp, and sunfish.

The Sertoma Arts Center is located on the park property also. It offers classes for artists of all abilities. A playground is located nearby.

Both parking lots are located off of Millbrook Rd. The larger parking lot is located near the Sertoma Arts Center. Greenway trail entrances are located off of North Hills Drive as well.
